The Life of a Jammie Dodger

Just a few photo's to show you something of what we got up to over the last week..!! During five days of walking we walked about 50 miles...!!

On to Harlyn....!!

(P.S I have also been experimenting with facial hair....and currently have a 'goatie'!!)

For the next week, the top picture is the kind, is hopefully going to be the norm as I am going to be a Switzerland!! (I can't wait!!) Good food, good nights sleep, good beer, good amount of exercise...etc (the list goes on and on..!!) Who knows I may even get to do some Summer Skiing..?!!

Flying from Bristol tomorrow we then have to get trains up into the valleys surrounding Mont Blanc!! The it is just walking for the next 6 days with a rest day on Wednesday!! I walked up a mountain on my 15 Birthday whilst we we based in Lucern (Switzerland), and now I am looking forward to doing soemthing similar!!

I can't wait for Monday now as I have NO revision!! Last year I had to revise on my Birthday - I don't recommend it...!! So this time is going to nice not to..!!

Then next weekend we arrive back into Britain on Saturday and then we have another week in Cornwall staying at Harlyn Bay again...!!

Its all change in Cardiff!! The Union shop is getting bigger to start off with!! However the major changes I have noticed today is the train station..!! They have gone a bit like Paddington with the eletronic gates and electronic boards!!

Also Fat Face has moved position...its now in the Capitol Center in town!! (crucial change!!)

Exam went better than the last three times I have taken it, writting probably the most I have in a Uni paper!! i can only wait and see!!

Am now shattered........

Revision..Revision...Revision...!! I am so bored of doing it..!! Can't wait till thursday at 10:30am when it will be all over..!!

Between now and then though is the last stand..!!! Also there is the National Fireworks Competition on the Hoe this evening and train journey back up to 'Sunny' Wales..!!

But more inportantly than that....It's CLAIRE BIRTHDAY (Stroudie's Girlfriend!) That means a meal out this evening before the fireworks!!

Tearfund BBQ was a great sucess with about 80-90 people coming and over £500 being raised, which is Brilliant!!

Back to the books......

Yesterday was a good day!! A group of us meet up for a 'Contenential Breakfast' in Plymouth at a French cafe - 8 of us all told, all boys!! (I reckon that we keep this particular place afloat with our custom!!) Then that evening we had a poker evening..I didn't come last, which was the main thing!!

Naomi Sheldon who came to Malwai came down the other day which was good! It was a great chance to catch up with her and for her to catch up with a few of the others who went to (Bowdes, Stroudie). We had a BBQ and Mum had some friends as well, but it was still a relaxed evening, which was nice!

Tonight is 'Beach Love's' B'Day BBQ which is always a good event with some lovely food being produced!! (lots of helpings!!) Then tomorrow its the church's Tearfund BBQ which is always held at our house and usually there is upwards of 70 people of there abouts..!! Its great but a bit stressful for Mum and Dad!!

3 BBQ's in a week = 'C ' - could do better!!

I have got to say its weird having him back..!! However, it is class to have him back as well, as the house seems 'normal' again..!!

My cousins are down training with Martin Johnson this week on a rugby academy at Plymouth Albion. They are camping in the garden, and bring teh number of the hose up to a round 8 (the cat included!!)

Rich has got some awesome stories which makes it very hard to concentrate on my revision!! But an advantage has to be the souvenirs he has brought back...!! He has a goatie as well...!!

This weekend was a bit odd as Mum and Dad went up to Lyme on the Saturday to meet up with friends before pushing onto pichk up Holz from Camp and Rich from Heathrow on teh Sunday..!!

Being 'home alone', I was debating as what fortifications to copy from Kevin MacCalistor, whilst tring to not get too bored of revision...!! One Highlight though was having a great chat and catch up with 'me-man' Stroudie (couldn't resist sorry!!) and watch 'Inside Man'. (thoughly recommend that film..BRILLIANT!!)

(NB Dayo...ask in about his tan lines next time you see him, and whether he enjoyed some sick waves when he was in Harlyn..!!)

Lats night I saw Superman with some mates! I thought it was alright..nothing special, but I was glad to get out of the house and break up the boringness of revision...!!

Rich is back on Sunday evening which should be good...I can't wait!!

Carpet men are fitting a carpet upstairs today - bedroom has been taken over by other things..!! (That reminds me I have soooo much junk in my rooom - I found stuff from GCSE's the other day..!!)

Got to go...Revise...!!

Yesterday I was walking through town an I stumbled across mountain biking in the centre..!! (Martin Ashton and 'Chopper'!)

Some of the stuff they where doing was off the wall!! I could not believe what I was seeing: bac flips, bunny hops over 1 metre 10 bars...etc If they come to near you I recommned it !!

Apart from that I was bascially revising and sorting out things at home..
